A quite tough ride which takes us up to the magnificent iron cross at the highest point of the Pratomagno Mountains (1529 meters a.s.l).
The cross itself is an historic monument erected in 1928 to commemorate the 700th centenary of the death of Saint Francis. It stands at the pinnacle of the mountain range which divides the Casentino and Valdarno valleys. The panorama is truly breathtaking and well worth the ride, the sky is the limit up there!
