This is My Story

Hi,

I’m Gabriele, Tuscan born and bred and with the typical Italian passion for bikes!

I’m a registered MTB Guide which qualifies me to take people on both bike and walking excursions.

My home is in the centre of Tuscany but the area I cover is not one of the usual destinations people choose when coming here. Most people head towards the bigger tourist attractions of Florence, Pisa, Lucca or Siena. All of those cities are within easy reach by car (an hour to Florence or Siena, half an hour more to Pisa or Lucca). Here we have a relatively unexplored biking and hiking region for visitors which, in my humble opinion, can easily compete with – or out-do – the more famous regions.

After living here all my life I can show you some of the most spectacular views, countryside and villages which this little known part of Tuscany has to offer. Along the way I’ll explain as much (or as little) as you would like to know about the area and can give you tips on other places to visit, things to do or places to eat.

There is so much to see and do here but of course we won’t miss an opportunity to taste some of the delicious local products; extra virgin olive oil, cheese, prosciutto, salami and not forgetting wine of course!
